A story

Born in German-speaking Switzerland and of Bolivian origin by her father and Colombian by her mother, Lucyla was immersed in the family world of jewelry in Bolivia where her father ran a boutique creating unique jewelry for several years.

Back in Switzerland for her studies Lucyla embarked on sales and finance for almost 10 years, finally returning quite naturally to gemology and jewelry through the creation of jewelry and the expertise of precious stones. Graduated in gemology from the prestigious HRD institute in Antwerp, she wishes to bring a new dynamic and another vision of what luxury could be while respecting our environment which is close to her heart.

An inspiration

With a design resolutely inspired by Andean culture, she enjoys using ecological 18k gold and natural precious and fine stones for her collection of jewelry for men and women. Thus was born “AYMARA” which is not only a people, but also one of the oldest languages ​​spoken in several countries of South America.

Through AYMARA, Lucyla wishes to express this cultural heritage and this openness that has been transmitted to her by creating jewels that stand out for their singularities, their bold colors and their elegance. Each piece of jewelry is handmade in Switzerland, unique pieces, it is impossible to use wax casting techniques or mechanized means to produce these jewelry on the chain.
